Catalina's eyes get watery quite often. I don't know how many times the school has called me telling me that she has pink eye. It's not pink eye though. Her eyes just seem to get really watery sometimes but no redness, gunk, etc. Does anyone know if this is common?

Hi Michelle, My son always had watery eye's....and had a chapped face. The school was continuously calling and sending him home..despite the fact that I tried to explain that he didn't have all the things that they kept saying he had.....and one was pink eye, like you when his eye's were watery.
I would always have to bring in a doctors note to get him back in school....so one day, they called early in the morning and told me to take him to the doctor, the doctor got really angry and said stop bringing Matthew in to see me...there is nothing wrong with him....and he wrote a nasty note to the school telling them that there was nothing wrong with him and that he didn't want to hear that he was in there because the school said he was sick....
I then returned the same day....with note in hand and never heard from them again....lol....but what a pain in the neck it was for a few years when he was young.
And I will tell you, from time to time his eye's still water for no reason and he is now 20.

Lol, you know Kim for some reason I can't help but laughing at this. I think it's ridiculous that schools can't believe what us parents say when we know our kids better than anyone!
