Hi Carol, it's nice to meet you!! That must be kind of neat for there to be other children with special needs in your daughter's classroom. My daughter is the only one in hers and I sometimes think she wouldn't feel as alone so to speak. p.s. No thanks needed at all!

They tried putting them in 2 classroom at this year. The girls were in one and the boys in another. It did not work out. 1st there were 30+ kids in each classroom.2nd there was 1 para that Abby listen to. 3rd they were no longer together. Abby and the other boy were leaving the classroom without permission. Once they put Abby in the other classroom it was a turn around. They now have a 3rd 4th grade with 20 in each class. I also think the 1st teacher did not really want Abby in there. I do like that she has her special friends. They talk and laugh at jokes the other will not understand. She goes to a camp for special people in the summer. I love it.

That's a lot of kids in one classroom! I'm glad they chose to put them in the same classroom again. That's good for your daughter and the other boy! I've never heard of a summer camp around here. What do they do there?
