At some point, someone told me that I shouldn't treat her any differently than any of my other children. I didn't know how that was possible. There were things that she didn't understand and I had no idea how to communicate to her.
She's extremely tender hearted and would have an emotional breakdown if I even raised my voice at her.
To this day, I still let her get away with a lot. At school, they have her lay her head down on the desk for about 15 to 30 seconds. For them, it seems to work. I'm unsure if she truly understand why she is there or if it simply gives her enough time to regroup herself so to speak.
How do you deal with behavior issues?
